Leave Travel Concession (LTC): Travel by Air India

Leave Travel Concession (LTC): Travel by Air India

As per instant instructions, the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) is applicable for travel by Air India and in Economy class only. However, relaxation has been given to travel by private airlines to visit Jammu & Kashmir with certain conditions.

This was stated by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply to question by Shri Sharad Tripathi in the Lok Sabha today.

Construction of House – Subsidy of Rs. 1.5 Lakh

1.5 Lakh housing subsidy per worker Ministry of Labour & Employment provides housing subsidy of Rs. 1,50,000/- per worker for construction of house. Ministry of Labour & Employment has formulated Revised Integrated Housing Scheme (RIHS), 2016, which is applicable to the workers engaged in Beedi/Iron Ore Mines, Manganese Ore & Chrome Ore Mines (IOMC)/Limestone Ore Mines, Dolomite Ore Mines (LSDM) /Mica Mines and Cine Industries, registered with the Labour Welfare Organisation (LWO) in the country. In the Revised Integrated Housing Scheme (RIHS), 2016 the housing subsidy of Rs. 1,50,000/- will be released in three installments in 25:60:15 ratio.
